The end of the sub-branch awards even more claims on territories in Germany, France and central Italy. The Non-Aligned Habsburg king is the most unusual, as it involves starting an endeavour to rebuild the fallen Austro-Hungarian Empire by reuniting with Austria and Czechoslovakia (and there fore opposing and resisting German designs for said countries) and generating claims on lost lands in Yugoslavia, Romania, Poland and northern Italy. This sub-branch joins the Strengthen Fascists Sub-branch. The Fascist king means aligning more with Germany and the Axis and striving to create a Greater Hungary. The Democratic king means closer ties with Sweden and either joining the United Kingdom and the Allies or allying with Romania. This branch allows Hungary to end the regency and elect either a Democratic king (Carl V Wilhelm of Sweden), a Fascist king (Friedrich Franz of Mecklenburg-Schwerin of Germany), or a Non-Aligned Habsburg king (Otto von Habsburg of Austria) as their ruler. The Hungarian national focus tree can be divided into 3 branches and 6 sub-branches:īalanced Budget/Economic Intervention Branch This branch allows Hungary to change its political stance.
